The detailed step-by-step description of how the Art Deco interior was created

»

The customer purchased an apartment in Miami. It was a large, spacious apartment with huge potential. However, its design has become out-of-trend. Our designers were given the task to make a trophy, concise and at the same time an update interior both now and always.

During the work on the space and interior design, we found the customer’s favor for the Art Deco style. Indeed it’s a really good choice. This refined and respectable style does not depend on fashion and time.

It was the stages of bare shell. The walls were re-erected and a partial architectural replanning was carried out.

Finishing in the lobby. We have installed built-in furniture and new doors. Our team laid the parquet. The floor was carefully covered so as not to accidentally damage the coating during further work. Plaster baguettes were installed and painted. Everything, including the complex plaster “framing” for the round niche in the ceiling, was custom-made.

The photo shows a view from the dining room to the kitchen during the installation of kitchen furniture. This is a “piece” of the future luxury interior: marble floors, custom-made stucco molding, and snow-white sliding 4-fold doors (equipped with a synchronous opening mechanism).

This is a bedroom, so far without decor. The gorgeous textured furniture is made from Bird’s-eye maple wood. A magnificent mattress that takes the shape of a body (one of the best ViSpring models) lies on a bed with a soft headboard. We have placed stylish reading lamps at the head of the bed.

»

This is a powder room. The walls and floor are finished with marble. The furniture is made from “Diospyros celebica” – a valuable breed of ebony with a pattern in the form of alternating straight black and brown stripes. The round metal handle adorning the bedside table is also custom-made. We have integrated THG brand plumbing. Our company has added one elegant touch: Art Deco lamps in the form of thin crystal “cones” with metal bases.

This is a shower in the guest bathroom. The walls are covered with white marble and gray streaks. A hidden drain system is installed. The water goes into the cracks around the marble insert.

»

Guest toilet. The walls and floor are lined with light marble. We stressed stylish and warm accents – a luxurious panel on the wall, wooden elements and antique figurines.

»

This is an office room. The furniture, supplemented with bronze fittings, is made to order from valuable black ofram and golden madrona burl woods. The customer collects antique figurines and vases. The racks and shelves are designed for his collection.

»

The interior of this bedroom is fully completed. There are paintings and photographs on the walls, magnificent curtains on the windows and a wonderful bedspread on the bed. Pay attention to the unusual accent – a chandelier in a flower bud shape.

The “soul” of the house is a spacious dining room where the whole family, including close and distant relatives, can gather for dinner. The huge rectangular table, like all the furniture in the dining room, is made according to our individual design from smoked lacewood – a valuable light amber wood. The table cover is decorated with lozenges made of veneer. You can see an elegant plaster molding, also made in a single copy. Classical symmetry, art objects, two showcases with antique vases should emphasize the true taste of the owner.

»

The kitchen is made in a modern high-tech style. The designer proposed this solution to make the care of furniture and household appliances easier. All family members love to cook. The decor does not discord with the interior of the other rooms thanks to the objects that act as a connecting “link”: a kitchen island and a table with a unique Art Deco design.

»

This is a living room. Antiques go well with custom-made furniture. The round coffee table transformer consists of three independent elements, which, if necessary, can be assembled together.

»

The bright spacious hall is shown in the picture. A piece of the dressing room can be seen through the sliding doors with glass inserts.

The development and management of design project were included in this large-scale work. Also we supplied finishing materials, plumbing, as well as plaster moldings and furniture, which were made to order according to our sketches. You can see the result – a bright spacious apartment with a luxurious functional interior that is almost invulnerable to the momentary whims of fashion: like the classic style, Art Deco will never become obsolete.
