The repair of a huge building (especially with a complete redevelopment) is a time-consuming, complex and exciting process. It’s always been the case. But this project is of particular interest. The building has historical value, so we had to preserve the facade in its “original” form by restoring it so that its appearance did not change.
Before and after: the repair process
The photo before the start of the repair work shows the courtyard during the dismantling work. The ancient building has preserved only the walls.
Photo after restoration: this is how the facade looked when its repair was completed (view from the courtyard).
This is the pool room for which we have developed a design concept. Preparations for the final repair are underway.
Here we see the construction of an underground parking lot located under the courtyard. Each owner will have at least one personal place for the car.
There was found a rather elegant solution to build another floor from above without changing the appearance of the main facade.
The reception is distinguished by decorative stone panels on the walls, marble floors, “framing” of windows and supporting columns.
This is the view from the corridor on the elevator door. Luxury housing has an undoubted advantage. The owners of luxury apartments get to their apartment directly from the elevator.
This is the room of the pool after its bowl has been lined with marble, and communications have been hidden under a canvas of drywall on the ceiling.
Hamam is shown during the construction process. All elements are made of precious marble in a single copy. Fine artistic stone carving is made by a sculptor.
The common room is designed for relaxation. Here residents will be able to relax, smoke a cigar and chat with each other in comfort.
This is what the reception area looks like after renovation: elegant Art Deco furniture made to order from Bird’s eye wood, polished to a mirror shine and decorated with bronze inserts and decorative carved elements, shining marble floors and columns, a magnificent antique chandelier.
This is a view of the vestibule with automatic doors after repair.
The photo shows a swimming pool. The unique shelving is made to order, the walls are decorated with decorative stone panels, teak boards a la “yacht deck” lie on the floor. The bas-reliefs are made of the same stone as the wall panels. The artistic stone carving is made by a skilled sculptor.
